SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

The updated schedule can be found on the website.

EQUIPMENT UPDATE AND HELPFUL HINTS:

The required and recommended equipment can be found on the website.  Make sure you have a long sleeve technical garment and a water proof or resistant top for kayaking.  This is mandatory gear for ALL participants!

REMINDER for the long race:

P.F.D. US Coast Guard approved Life Jacket is mandatory and is your responsibility

The Ocean Blue is on the coast of Northern California so weather can be tricky.  Battling morning fog and then afternoon heat makes it challenging to pack so please come prepared with plenty of water, sunscreen, and clothing that will provide protection from all of the elements.  Items on the mandatory gear list will be strictly enforced!

Don’t forget to stick around after the race to celebrate your adventure with all of the post race festivities.  You won’t want to miss the Big Blue BBQ, raffle prizes from Merrell, Salomon, National Geographic, Helly Hansen, SOLE, Tecnu and more!

If you have any additional questions, log on to www.bigblueadventure.com or email us at info@bigblueadventure.com.

We look forward to seeing you this race weekend!
