The Big Blue Adventure Series is comprised of adventurous multi-sport races and events in which teams and individuals participate and compete in a variety of activities and sports including: kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, orienteering, and navigation. Join us for great adventure, awesome locations and an all around good time!
The Series challenges the seasoned athlete and provides those new to triathlon, trail running and adventure racing with an opportunity to participate and succeed in these exciting sports! The series offers a wide range of events and with finishing times from 1 hour up to multi-day epic adventures.
Our courses and venues offer an authentic outdoor “Big Blue” experience, highlighting the diverse and varied natural terrain and geographic regions of California, Nevada and Oregon. Each event is designed to challenge the participant while showcasing some of the most beautiful recreational regions unique to these areas. You will experience the high desert, eastern Sierra and Carson Valley of Nevada, the Sierra and Lake Tahoe region in all of its summer and winter glory, conquer the rolling golden hills and reservoirs of the San Francisco Bay Area, survive the rugged Pacific Coast of Northern California, and the awesome Willamette National Forest.
