Never done an Adventure Race but you'd like to give it a try?
Veteran racer but want to tune up your skills?
Try one of our new sprint races. These are ideal for the beginner adventure racer, while still providing a challenge to the veteran racer. Designed for finishing times of 2 to 4 hours, this is a great way to give the sport a try, or introduce a friend to lots of fun. This race will take place at the same time and place as our 12 hour race. Your entry includes pre race clinic and a Q&A session hosted by some of the best AR racers in the sport. These veteran racers will give you race strategies and tips in these sessions.
Welcome to Joseph D. Grant County Park, the largest of Santa Clara County's regional park and recreation areas. This 9,553 acre park includes some of the County''s finest open space resources, as well as rich environmental, cultural and recreational assets. The landscape is characteristic of the east foothills of the Santa Clara Valley with grasslands and majestic oak trees.
Hikers and equestrians have access to an extensive 40-mile trail system. Mountain bikes are permitted on nearly half of the park's trails as designated. The diverse trail system at the park makes this a popular place to stage large-scale organized trail events such as equestrian endurance rides, mountain bike events and foot races.
Shaded picnic areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Campers can choose from 22 reservable family campsites. Hot showers are available. Group picnic and youth camping areas are available by reservation. One large lake and several smaller ponds are accessible for warm water fishing. Currently campfires are allowed within designed campfire areas.
Come on out and to see how you look in orange!
