Organized below are the registration links to all of our 2012 Races. Before registering we recommend you read our refund policy, license requirements, and online registration fee information below. We also have various discounts, including military and olympian discounts, check under discounts below to see if you apply.
Registration Information
In addition to a registration fee there are the following service fees:
(i) 15% of the registration fee if the registration fee is less than $20;
(ii) 9.8% of the registration fee if the registration fee is equal to or greater than $20 and less than $100; and
(iii) 8.0% of the registration fee if the registration fee is equal to or greater than $100 and less than $200; and
(iv) 6.5% of the registration fee if the registration fee is equal to or greater than $200 and less than $350; and
(v) 5.5% of the registration fee if the registration fee is equal to or greater than $350.

You may register online using major credit cards or by check for payment. Click on the links above.
1. Cancellations received via email 15 days or more prior to the event date, will receive a credit (credit, not money) in the amount of their original registration fee, less 15% of the registration fee. This credit will be good for 1 year (365 days) towards another Big Blue Adventure event.
2. Race registrations may be transferred to another Big Blue Adventure event within 15 days notice and are subject to a fee of 15% of the registration amount.
3. Substitution of teammates is allowed upon 7 days written notice prior to the event.
4. Changes in division or category deadline is 7 days prior to the event and is subject to a 15% administrative fee.

If you meet the requirements below, be sure to enter you the discount code while registering.
1. Truckee/Tahoe Resident. 10% discount to all events. Must show us a Drivers License at packet pickup Just use the code: local when registering, and bring your drivers license or proof that you are a Tahoe/Truckee resident at packet pickup.
2. Military (Active, Reserve or In-Active). 10% discount to all events. Must show military ID at packet pickup. Use the following discount code: MILT2011.
3. If you are a former Olympian, you race for free. Email us at todd@bigblueadventure.com to get confirm and get comp code.
4. Previous years winner. If you came in first place overall (male or female for triathlons) in any of our 2010 races, email us at todd@bigblueadventure.com to get a comp code. You must have come in first place overall, and the free entry can only apply to the same race you won.
USARA License (For Adventure Races Only)
All Big Blue Adventure "Adventure Races" are sanctioned by the United States Adventure Racing Association and require a license to participate. Fees are $8 for a single day license and $35 for a yearly. Licenses can be purchased on site at athlete check in. Cash or check only!
USAT License (For Triathlons Only)
All Big Blue Adventure "Triathlons" are sanctioned by the United States Triathlon Association and require a license to participate. Fees are $12 for a single and $45 for a yearly. If you're a member you're required to present your Membership Card. Licenses can be purchased on site at athlete check in. Cash or check only! You can purchase your USAT license during registration.
